    The Mingshi 2000 (Futur clone) is a delightful razor. Several of us have one. I did a Focus on mine a few months ago and Rick @RyX did a Focus as well. I love my Futur clone Mingshi, and it is a bargain. So YES! the Mingshi is good.

    It is also marketed as a Q-Shave razor. I have one and like it quite a lot.

    The Futur and its clones (Mingshi and Qshave) are fine razors indeed and about as aggressive as one can get. At least as far as gap is concerned. At their maximum setting it looks like you could plane doors with them. My biggest knock on them is that they are a zinc razor, which means they likely won't last forever. The clones are no doubt worth the money. The Futur itself, well, that depends on the value each person would put on it to determine whether or not it's worth the price. Great shaves from those razors, though.

    I like the Futur clones very much. May I last recommend that you buy the R41 from Maggard as a head only? Then you can pick your own handle and save a few bucks. Seems a lot of people (myself included) do not care for the factory handle. Maggard also sells a lot of cool inexpensive handles.
