  2. The PRC is just gorgeous. Can you describe the scent of Port au Prince?

  3. Maybe a couple of offers for dates too. Probably missed out on a good thing all around.
  4. It is Haitian Vetiver and Lemongrass. Earthy and citrusy. Very two dimensional. It is maybe my favorite because it is so dark and fresh at the same time?? If that makes any sense.
  5. Thanks Jason! Your WARM style is becoming an icon as well. :eatdrink047:

Thanks Clint! Having three interchangeable ferrules with different knots keeps it in my rotation more than any other brush. Jason's 30 DC LE and Jim's JR #130 get their turns, too.
  6. Makes perfect sense to me. I’m on a Vetiver kick now and will add this one to my list.

  7. I started with Korean blades which came with first razor, then tried Indian blades which came with a eBay razor, then tried Egyptian blades off a coworkers recommendation. Bought a Russian sampler pack off Amazon, and that was it. I was hooked on the Russian blades.

  9. Thank you, Jared! It takes half blade DE, but I want to try a full blade as it looks like it might work.
  10. Excellent looking shave!
  11. Thanks Jim!

  12. For the first time in weeks I just used some pre-shave oil. I was a little heavy handed yesterday and got some nasty irritation on my neck, so I thought the PSO might be of some help. I can say that I won't be using it again any time soon. It made skin stretching nigh on impossible, and just generally left my face feeling gunked up! Ended up with a nice 2xWTG comfortable shave though!
  13. Thank you, Jason! I think I still prefer Unconditional Surrender to Gratiot League Square, but like you said, it is splitting hairs. Both are great scents.
  14. Terrific picture, Jared!

  16. I looked them up and found them at G&C. There are models that accept both, but I wasn’t sure which one you had. There are pictures of the one model with a full blade in it.

    Where did you get yours?
  17. I am never going to catch up on this thread. I’m still going strong on my focus.

Have had three mostly successful shaves since my last post. I have muted the tip on each blade. Getting the lather down on this soap, even with a too small lather bowl. Back to a mix of face and bowl lathering. Have been getting close enough shaves that it has been three days between shaves for the most part, to avoid irritation. Last few shaves have only had a few weepers, but my face is tender for at least 24 hours. Also discovered that doing a focus is boring, and makes me less likely to post.
  18. Nice set-up.
I find Astra SPs quite sharp, fwiw. What blades are you thinking of trying next?
Great combo, Jared! Love the mutton base as well.
  19. I got mine are Maggards. I looked at the pictures at G&C, and they one they have showing a full blade looks to be the same one I have.

  20. Sounds like things have improved greatly since your bloodsport last week, Adam! I find if my focus is on a razor, switching software is enough variety to keep me interested.
