Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: Semogue 1470 Boar Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch Razor: MIL Industries OC (pass around) Blade: Astra SP Post: Warm then cold water rinse, BBA PSB Putting the cosmetic issues aside this razor isn't bad, I had a very smooth shave with minimum effort. I replaced the ridiculously heavy handle but just in case that wasn't the reason for the mild discomfort after yesterday's shave I chose to go with the marvelous BBA PSB. The handle was the problem but the BBA will still be a good defence against the biting wind when I venture out later. Happy Shaving one and all.

A beautiful killer-cold BBS shave which I enjoyed so much. This 1950's Super Speed performs so well for me, especially with these Astra Greens. The Glacial Spearmint soap delivered tons and tons of some of the best lather I could ask for, its delicious scent was ever present, and the menthol freeze kept getting more intense. The matching balm and the Arctique prolonged that freeze. I find the Acqua di Selva cologne pairs very well with the rest of the setup! Have a great start to the week!

Menthol Monday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave C.O. Bigelow Jayaruh #266 Supply Provision Personna Injector CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Vegetal I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #266 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Supply Provision Injector Razor using a Personna Injector blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Monday Prep: Warm Shower-Maggard London Barbershop Soap Soap: Country Club Spice Trail Razor: Gillette Red Tip Super Speed Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux (Shave #1) Brush: Elite Razor/WSP Silvertip-24mmx50mm Aftershave: Country Club Southern Oud WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Country Club Spice Trail again today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/WSP Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Rapira Platinum Lux in the Gillete. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave. Bob
Menthol Monday Hot water wash with a washcloth VanDerHagen boar/ Surrey blue handle Bombed Soap Commander Vision Pal injectomatic Chick Schick (4ish) Grand Shave King self lubricating razor Persona lab (5) Soap Commander Vision balm Men's Choice Artic Blue MM again, and soap commander fits the bill. The very inexpensive VdH boar did very nice (better in quality than ones purchased later). Two passes with the PAL left me scuffy. The angle seems easy to find, but proved elusive. Again I finished with the GSK. I'm very nicely shaved. But after four passes, i should be. Maybe the pal isn't for me. I completed my ritual with a double tap ofSC balm and Artic Blue (nice on it's own, but missing something from aqua velva). Hope y'all did as well, or better.

Bigelow + 5 drops M-Bomb Razorock Plissoft Heirloom Gillette Milord (NDC), Gillette 7 O'clock Green (3) 3 passes, touch up Cold rinse, Stirling Glacial Wintergreen Witch Hazel, Duke Connor Supply Co. Ice Cold AS Balm, Osage Rub Nice shave. Didn't feel the cold as much as I'd hoped, but still quite bracing.
