Nice setup, Dan. I see that the Jeris is a Clubman product. If you’ve used both, how does it compare to the regular Clubman Musk?

Finally, the Castle Forbes is done!

So I wanted to send the CF off in style, one of my favourite brushes and cool looking straight. To add to the send of some Roja Dove, the most expensive juice I own and on the same day I finished a tube of L'Occitanne ASB.

Unfortunately, the edge was not in top shape so I had to take a less aggressive angle. This razor needs a touch-up but was able to deliver an acceptable shave.

Strop: Dry Gulch black latigo
Brush: Handle by Jason know by Shavemac
Pre: Nivea
Soap: Castle Forbes
AS: Fine Vetiver, L’ Occitane ASB
Scent: Roja Dove Vetiver

The rationale:

Cold water reduces inflammatory response. Thoroughly chilling the skin after a shave also promotes increased blood flow to the skin post shave, as the body warms the chilled skin. This promotes faster healing of any mishaps or irritation.

I have used both and I like both. But I think the Clubman Musk is a milder scent and doesn't last as long as the Jeris. The Jeris Musk is bolder, and lasts for hours even though it's becomes more subtle.
