  1. Nice setup, Dan. I see that the Jeris is a Clubman product. If you’ve used both, how does it compare to the regular Clubman Musk?
  2. You nailed it. My wife and I will both be 63 when the girls are done. I don’t even want to think of what two weddings will cost.

  3. Finally, the Castle Forbes is done!

So I wanted to send the CF off in style, one of my favourite brushes and cool looking straight. To add to the send of some Roja Dove, the most expensive juice I own and on the same day I finished a tube of L'Occitanne ASB.

Unfortunately, the edge was not in top shape so I had to take a less aggressive angle. This razor needs a touch-up but was able to deliver an acceptable shave.

    Irritation A Closeness A- Smoothness A Sharpness A-

Brush: Handle by Jason know by Shavemac
    Pre: Nivea
    Soap: Castle Forbes

    Scent: Roja Dove Vetiver

  4. The rationale:

Cold water reduces inflammatory response. Thoroughly chilling the skin after a shave also promotes increased blood flow to the skin post shave, as the body warms the chilled skin. This promotes faster healing of any mishaps or irritation.
  5. Great lineup Dan.

When the time comes, let me know. I’ll set you up as one of our distributors and take plenty of “business trips” to make sure that things are on track!
  8. Thanks, Jason.

I have used both and I like both. But I think the Clubman Musk is a milder scent and doesn't last as long as the Jeris. The Jeris Musk is bolder, and lasts for hours even though it's becomes more subtle.

Enjoy your family time the next few days!

Thank you, Clint! I've followed some of your previous posts with @PickledNorthern. May I suggest you promote the idea of eloping to your daughters? That should save some funds otherwise spent on huge weddings. Just a thought..... ;)
  9. Great picture, Dan!

  11. I have 4 kids and none of them even close to school (the youngest being 2). I can't get the app or I'll have get a prescription for antidepressants to go with it.

  14. Yup, I hear you guys. I was 37 and 39 when my two kids were born.
If one of you is game, I say we remake the Muppet Show in a decade and be these guys:

  19. I can relate. I’ve been traveling for 36 years and look forward to being home someday. Mowing golf courses sounds goid
  20. Wow that looks great. I'll have to see if I can emulate something which approximates that.
