Just got the day off. Can't do wiring work on a light system, on the edge a 25foot roof, until the wind gusts drop below 50mph. Rain moving in. It's cool. I wasn't feeling today. Must be time for a pipe.

Sorry to hear about that guys. Nice shave this morning. DFS. A bit of sting from the alum on my neck. Not many shaves left for me this month. Looking forward to changing things up for April but at the same time I'm going to miss this month's gear. Speaking of next month, I ordered some soap and aftershave samples to use. Tracking said they were delivered, left on porch. When I got home from work they weren't there. Porch bandit? I called the local post office this morning and they think it was delivered to the wrong address and they are going to try and retrieve the package. That actually makes me feel better than thinking we had thieves in the neighborhood. Anyway, I have plenty of other soaps to use. Happy Friday and a good weekend to you all! I hear that. I was almost done applying varnish to a wood floor repair when another customer called about a broken hot water line. March 23rd Gillette NEW SC w PermaSharp (3) Stirling Baker St SS Finest Fan/ Maple Handle Alum Thayers Barrister’s Reserve Spice AS Wife’s Birthday today, and we are heading into the Big Smoke for a few days of family fun. Leisurely shave earlier- 3 nice passes with this great combo. Made a new soap bowl and the only problem is that when I transferred the Baker St over, I realized I have fewer shaves left in it than I thought. 2-3 more tops. Finished with the excellent Spice which, coincidentally, happens to be SWMBO’s favourite. Have a great weekend all!

As soon as I figure out a case for mine so I quit damaging the edges so much, I will send them out for a touch up. Let me know when you want to do a kamisori focus. I have an extra I could loan out too.
I though MAYhem was reserved for Darwin award pre-work, like shaving with a razor blade in a binder clip, taped to your finger, glued to a stick, or just held in your fingers. After last year, Kamisoris seem kind of tame for the month. Perhaps we set the bar too high (or low) last time.

Real men don't let a little wind stop them. Growing up in Western Kansas if the wind dropped below 30mph everyone fell over. That born leaning into the wind thing was all that kept us on our feet!
SOTD 3.23.2018 Pre-shave: hot shower, Nivea Men Sensitive Face Wash Brush: Omega Boar 49 Soap: Arko Razor: Gillette Fatboy E-4 Blade: Generic "Best Choice" (2) Post-shave: Thayer's Lavender WH, Nivea Men Sensitive PS Balm, Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla AS The cut on my ear from the CJB shave the other day is healing still. But today is Gillette Adjustable Friday anyway, so it gave me an excuse not to tempt fate with the CJB. It can wait until my next face shave, probably Monday. The Fatboy in combination with this generic blade (probably a Vietnamese made Dorco) provided a close, comfortable, irritation-free shave. The wife and I have a dinner-thing social going on this evening. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
