I have the Barbershop soap now, but I "mix" it with Clubman Original A.S. (The 5.8 oz. soap, I should say). I've ordered two sample A.S. sets, and Xecutive Man was part of each.
I have a bottle of Clubman original, I'll have to give that a try. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
Wow! What a memory you have. I had pretty much forgotten about that after I ended up down for a bit last May. Well, you're right, I did have that plan for MAYhem, or at least part of it, so I suppose I'll have to give the fans what they want this year.
It sounds as if you're on a normal curve with the SR skill. Day 56ish was when I really starting "shaving" versus "trying to avoid injury while learning SR." By day 90, it is likely that you'll be quite proficient.
Since we went there... cremé fraiche, Mexican table cream, English clotted cream, American sour cream, ketchup and Mexican hot sauce (your call). Compare, then endure. Skin feel may be an issue. Week one...complete. With friends like me....
You really went on a cream binge there. I suppose, though, that if someone shaves with those then they are indeed shaving creams?
If you've ever taken a differential apart, replaced a rear wheel bearing, or had to install a new pumpkin gasket the scent is memorable. Not sure if it's compatible with human skin. Might want to read the warning label.
Gear oil. Hmmmmm. I think a nice synthetic 0w-20 might be easier. But perhaps more glide on the 80w-90.
March Madness!!! March 23 Razor - 1959 (E1) Gillette Super Speed Blade - (2) Soap - Proraso Green Tub Brush - Stirling Two Band Synthetic Post - Alum Friday night shave. Which means it's Monday morning for me tomorrow. What a quick weekend I had. Head shave up first with the Merkur 23C, Astra and Arko. Final head shave at Cartel HQ 1.0. The next one will be sometime next weekend at HQ 2.0. I'm pretty sure it won't be Friday night, though, as that is the main moving day and I doubt I'll be in much shape to try a head shave. As for the regular shave, day two on the Ladas in the Super Speed. Same great lather, same great gear, and a very nice DFS result. Perfect to start what is going to be a very long week. Six days of work followed by a move. Yeah, I know, you all wish you were me. Hope you have a great weekend!
