What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

That's a beautiful razor.

 

Today's shave was complements of a W.R. Case & Sons Tungsten.

 

Old image (~4 weeks ago) taken when I honed it, but a Tanifuji-made Cape 1000 that's an edge longevity test. This morning's shave is #19 using only the Kanoyama suede and cordovan to maintiain the edge. Still going strong - I typically use the canvas when the edge starts to fall off a little, usually about every 7 shaves but this splendid razor hasn't needed it yet.

Today's shave was with a Japanese Razor, Made of Swedish Silver Steel. I had a very pleasant 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues.

Razor- Japanese "Old Cherry".
Brush- Stirling Boar

Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
