Sounds like a plan. I am headed out in the town today to a knife shop that has all kinds of blades and sharpening stones so I will be looking out for one that catches my eye today can you shave like that on video and post it I’m sure there is something we can come up with like glue the blade to a doorway and you have to move your face against it instead of it agains tour face !! Now that is a scent every woman will love and appreciate. Smell stuck in my yard because I spilled some for months Hey I’m just trying to catch-up and keep up with all of y’all. I’m not up to paperclip and razor blade status yet
-Colonial General w/Feather Super -Rudy Vey 28mm Shavemac -Stirling Black Ice Not much to say, other than it was perfect.
I love it. I am just finishing up a 4oz puck of it, and it’s good enough that I ordered a tub. I think of black jelly beans more than licorice, but you get the idea. It’s strong enough to fill the room. My wife likes it, but my daughter says I smell like I should be driving a van with no windows.
Life has been to hectic so I was not able to post my shaves. Here is a quick catch up from Friday and Saturday, all focused on the self regenerating Tabac. Drew Dick extra hollow 5/8, ATT H2 with a Iridum Super and Portland Razors 7/8 Sunday shave The Tabac is unwilling to die so I took a break and used some Route 66 today. A nice shave with the Brian Brown but just a tickle from the alum. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Evening Gents, Been under the weather lately, haven't shaved for a while. Starting to feel better, hopefully be back at it tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
March Madness!!! March 24 Razor - 1959 (E1) Gillette Super Speed Blade - (3) Soap - Proraso Green Tub Brush - Stirling Two Band Synthetic Post - Alum One thing about going back to basics and using a setup like this one - there's no drama to report on or other problems to discuss. The SS, Ladas, Proraso and Stirling brush do one thing. Provide a DFS result or better in two passes and a bit of touch up. That's it. It would be boring if it wasn't just a delight to have that result time and time again. Enough of this perfection. Gonna change it up to a different blade tomorrow night. I think I'll risk disaster by using an Astra SP. Yeah, that sounds dangerous enough. Raining all day here, supposed to rain pretty much through Thursday. Flood alerts are beginning to be a thing so it must be Spring. We'll be moving to high ground instead of being a few feet above flood stage so we can safely ignore those alerts in the future. Hope you have an enjoyable Sunday!
You know... Around here, the forecast is usually partly rowdy with a good chance of pain. Feels right as rain.
