About the zapper-my favorite memories are when what must have been pterodactyl flew in it and cooked for a minute solid, smoked and stunk up the whole porch.
No shaves two days running now. Good thing I will use a clog proof razor next time. Wore Veg anyway.... Let's see what John 5 says about that... Yep. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado. Have a super Sunday!
I raised four children close in age. That's a great description of a Saturday night. I'll share it with my daughter who has three of her own. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
Huh, and wow! I counted at least three techniques I've not see before. I thought Magicians weren't supposed to give away the secrets. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
It's awesome how many days in a row you have used the same razor! What is the task that you have set for yourself?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lovely-V...with-Bakelite-Box-Great-Example-/123037474870 Is this classed as an aggressive vintage razor? Is it a good example at a good price?

Not nearly the level of drama I expected. No last minute hair or dress issues so I thought we were going to escape all the drama. However, I did have to return home to pick up her jewelry for pictures. Recalling previous years, I would judge this year as stress free.
The Micromatic OC razor is about as aggressive razor as I have ever tried. It is more so than the 1912 Ever-Ready you listed first. Personally, I find the 1912 razors to be terrific shavers. I haven't used a MMOC in such a long time, as I PIFed it away a while back.
March 25, 2018 OneBlade Genesis V2 Gem PTFE Modified BSB-2 with Vie Long 2 Band Fan Nuàvia Blu A new week brings a change of hardware. I will be going back to the OneBlade Genesis with a modified Gem blade. The brush for the week is the BSB-2 with a Vie Long 2 Band Fan. I enjoy using the brush but wish the handle was bigger. The knot is the real star having the scrub, backbone and density that make face lathering a true joy. With a nice rich slick lather I decided to go with a 3 pass shave, ATG, XTG followed by ATG. I ended up with a perfect BBS shave without the need to buff my neck. I think I might be on to something with the ATG pass as my first pass. I finished off with a splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and I am ready for a busy day. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Thanks for the info! Despite my original want for a modern razor, the reputation of these vintage SE razors is hard to ignore... So I'm searching for some in good condition!
