  4. I picked these up today. I’m not familiar with the maker, but they look to be nice blades. I’m assuming the one on the left has been reground. The one on the right is a wedge and they look like they will clean up nicely.

  6. Here is one that might have some potential. Yet another "Project Razor". I need a vacation so I can get to work on a couple of these.

I am the proud custodian of this gorgeous George Wostenholm Pipe Razor. If Paul is a member at the Den - thank you!

It comes with this lovely felt lined, leather pouch. I am very happy to have it back from @Billyfergie with a super sharp new edge.

Also returned (and so far unused) was my Herder. Can't wait to get a shave in with both. But which first?? :love055:

It looks as if someone recently attempted to hone the spine. I've seen worse. So, I guess I have yet another "Project Razor".

Got these a Couple of Days Ago..A Tayor & Witness Sheffield 6/8th & a Made in the USA Top Flight 7/8th by Burrell Cutlery Co. Ellicottville, N.Y...The Top Flight has Custom Scales..The Blade is Mint & Scales Fit it to a Tea..:)

Both Honed on a Naniwa Super Stone Progression...The Top Flight was Finished on My 16 K Plus Escher Thuri..The Sheffield Finished on My Black Arkie..I Took the Sheffield Off the Arkie at the 16 K Mark...Sheffield Hollow Grinds Wont Take Anything Like the 20 K Potential of the Arkie..I Find 16 K to be Optimal for Hollow Ground Sheffield's..;)

I Am Tempted to Keep the Sheffield..Both Took Sweet Sweet Edges..:angelic007:
