Joined the fun with a Slim and Dorco blade today. I love the Boots shave stick and aftershave. This Semogue 1305 just keeps getting better and better. I set the Slim to 9 and a great shave came through.
Fatboy Friday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Musgo Real Jayaruh #266 Gillette 195 Fatboy on 7 Astra SP CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Vegetal I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #266 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gillette 195 Fatboy Razor on 7 using an Astra SP blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Vegetal AS. It was a fantastic shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
i sold my g-2 fatboy when i got my m-1 slim.m-1 is my birthyear razor.i use it from time to time.one day when i was shopping for soap i randomly checked the bay and found an m-4 slim (birthyear and quarter)with the case in very nice shape.well price ,home it came.the blade bank is newer but thats finei havent ventured past 4 with it and it shaves awesome.

It is a Fatboy... but not currently adjustable . Been working on it for a while, and I guess I will get used to a setting of 8 for this shave. One of the reasons I like the earlier #195's - they are easier to disassemble. A bent binder clip makes a dandy spanner wrench to remove the bottom nut.
Palmolive Stick stuffed in a tub and JR #130 Cypress & Synth brush in a Suribachi bowl with cool water provided the E4 Fat Boy on number nine plenty of glide. The Astra SP blade of uncounted uses should have been replaced. Lucky Tiger Skin Care AS Lotion seems to be discontinued. Maybe the bottle I bought has turned from too long setting on the store shelf. Tire fire and skunk scent were not what I hoped for. A fuzzy photo of Friday's shave. I got one picture taken just as my phone battery bottomed out.

i like to use gillette silver blue blades with it.should any glue dot residue be removed from the blades first?
