    I agree with you on the alum. I lean more towards dry skin, so it has become more of a remedy for weepers, and an occasional spell checker of technique, as opposed to a staple.

    So I really corrected a disturbance in the Force today. @Jayaruh built this beautiful two piece 400 handle for me a few months back, and I put a really crappy knot into it. It has been causing me angst. Like really. Here I have this handle I just love, with a knot in it so bad, that I don’t even want to use it. So I got the idea this morning, and knocked the knot out of my Omega 49, dremeled up the plug a little bit, and ended up with one of my all time favorite knots in a beautiful handle. Into my garbage: One horrible knot, and one cheap plastic handle.

    The Stirling Almond has become my go to, old school scent. Cella, for those of you who have never smelled it. Same scent, just better lather. (IMO)
