My first spin with it was with a GSB and it gave me a pretty bad razor burn. So I decided to go back to basics, and it was a great shave. I'm going to use this months focus to work up to being able to use the GSB in this bad boy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Technically, I don't think so. "Chinese precision steel" is definitely an oxymoron, though. however, one can be a connoisseur, for instance, of bad movies.

I like the B&M Bay Rum. B&M says that their bay rum is "clove-free" and note that they use "genuine West Indies bay and not the stuff you find in your kitchen". It also uses real blackstrap rum as the rum scent and mixes oranges into it as well. The addition of oranges to the mixture is actually very similar to the Jeeves bay rum scent profile that way. B&M then tops it off with a vanilla-like scent (from something called benzoin) and a dash of cinnamon. The overall result is very pleasant. I find that my Jeeves Bay Rum splash pairs very well with the B&M Bay Rum soap. Probably the opposite pairing of splash and soap would work well too. The main difference between the two seems to be that the B&M version has cinnamon in it as an extra ingredient while the Jeeves has a bit of patchouli.
How small of pieces? You didn't have to grate it? That would be nice, I want something to put in that year one Old Spice mug I bought, the Lea I put in was garbage, so I pitched it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice, I may have to check these Timeless razors out. Of course after, I get my grubby hands on that Krave shaving razor I've been craving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey, I never said "after 2018", I just said "after my NB'18 is over"... which could happen tomorrow if I break down and buy stuff... (You know, that Karve razor @GawainandtheGreenKnight has been talking about looks pretty good -- and it's a Canadian company that makes the razors in Canada, so it deserves my support almost as a patriotic duty...)
You know I'll always take a couple of questionable steel slices off your hands to try out. Curley? I'll have to look those up and see what the scoop is. Other than they suck.
