  1. Andrew I have 2 Wolfman OC razors. My first was a stainless OC with the standard blade gap of 0.61mm. It has the face feel of a Slim on around 4-5 with the efficiency of a Slim on 9. I find it to be very smooth and after spending time with it, I sold my replated New LC and my Ikon B1 OC. I was able to piggy back on Mark's order for a Ti OC head with a 0.74mm. It has the blade feel of a Slim on 7 and is off the Slim scale on efficiency. It took me some time to really enjoy the 0.74mm Wolfman. I didn't find it too aggressive but I did find it to have a more narrow optimal angle. Once I had than ingrained in muscle memory I find it to be an exceptionally smooth shaver. If I had to pick one it would be a difficult choice as my favorite one is usually the one I am using at the time. However, given your preference for aggressive razors I would say the 0.74mm would be a great choice.
  2. Great photo and lineup Jason. :happy088:
  3. No worries Chris. Chicks really dig those headscars btw .
Oh boy. I'll have to check Fuzzys videos and see what it's all about. Still haven't found any vids of blades taped to tree branches, bolts etc . I do have some welding rods laying around though.
  4. Thanks for the info, Clint!
  5. Fantastic shot, Jason!
  6. We got it too...:sad023:

    April 2nd...nice.
  7. If you can conquer the CJB so easily, it should only be a few days until you dial in that GEM, Jim. Multiple Arko soaps makes ‘Arko April’ seem more manageable as well!
Welcome home, Perry! Sounds like a great shave, especially with the underrated Soap Commander.
‘Wonderful and uneventful’ sounds like a great start to the week!
That might be one of my favourite pictures of yours, Clint. And given the day in, day out quality of your shots, that is saying something.
  8. Thanks, Jason!
  9. Jeeves is the only Bay Rum I've managed to really enjoy. It's awesome soap. Barrister and Mann is heavy on the clove.

  10. Getting a late start to April. My only real plan is to remove hair from my face and head semi regularly with sharp objects and the aid of various soaps, splashes and balms. I've also PIF'd out a couple of sticks of Arko so others can join in the fun.

  11. Thank you Jason. I do like taking photos on the black computer desk. Not much left in the C.O. Bigelow.
  12. Did B& M change their formula on the Bay Rum? The one I tried some time back came across as clove.

  13. I'll let you know. Clearly I have a soap problem as I ordered a set just to see. I figured if I didn't like the scent I'd trade it out on the BST. Considering the scent is going to dry up for a while, I'm hoping it won't be hard to trade out for something I want if it's not my thing.
  14. I ordered a bottle of the B&M bay rum aftershave for the same reason. A bottle of Cat O Ninetails from Captains Choice as well. I should have ordered some soap but I have PAA bay rum to pair with them.

  15. Terrific picture, Jason!
  16. This razor is definitely more of a challenge for me, even more so than I find straights and shavettes. Of course, I have really only a handful of shaves with one of these vs about a year or so of straights. It will just take some practice.
  17. Try the Crown King Atomic Age Bay Rum. IMO, it is terrific scent and the best bay rum I have tried.
  18. Thank you, Gentlemen.
  19. APRIL Adjusted my Arko

    Arko Stick in a tub
    Omega #20248 boar
    Suribachi & cool water
    '59 Gillette #195 on nine
Kai SS blade - fresh one today
    Alum block, @twhite PS Spritz
SOTD 04022018.gif Doesn't take much peer pressure to get an Arko Adjustable shave in my den. I went Hipster by adding a couple drops of Patchouli EO in the ceramic Japanese bowl. Never a problem making lather with this soap even if added AS or Cologne molests the mix. The Destroyer Class 27mm X 64 mm brush has gone passed broken in into the too soft zone. Might have been the diluted vinegar rinse that took away it's scritch. I liked it when it exfoliated but now it's synth/badger quality. Started to do my first pass with a Voskhod of unknown uses. Aborted after one WTG swipe - no sense getting a tuggy shave when I've been on a pogrom to retire previously used blades. Shuffled through the stash and chose a new to me brand. These Kai seem to be made of thicker steel and I like the unmarked surface. No branding or 1-4 numbering, just sharpness. Kept the Fat Boy pegged on Nine and got in 3 easy passes. Still had lather to spare so I went the extra passes. No blood on steel, but the alum block tells me I pushed it on my neck. A couple of spritzes of Bound & Shagged scented mix from Tom's laboratory calmed my irritation. DFS+ jaw line and above, a little less so lower.
    Good Shaves Y'all!
