Amazon has single sticks kind of high priced but the bulk packs aren't bad. For a single stick check out our own Shave Den shop. They sell single sticks at a good price.

Good luck with the graveyard shift. I had to cover a month between thanksgiving and Christmas last year. Only 10 hour shifts, but it damn near killed me.

I guess next time I buy some shaving stuff (after my NB'18 is over one way or the other), I will have to include a couple tucks of Merkurs. Keep some to try myself and ship a few blades in an envelope to you and to Neal to try...

Up and moving early this morning since Maya and I are driving to Lexington, KY today. At least I was able to get a great shave in before the long drive. This lineup just works well together. Three passes and touch ups left the baby just out of reach. I did get one weeper below my lip due to operator error. I was moving way to fast this early in the morning. A splash of Fine Lavender and now I wait for Maya to get ready. With a house full of women, waiting is the story of my life. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

    April 5 SOTD:

    Razor: Gem MMOC
    Blade: Gem Stainless
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Lather: Stirling San Antonio
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Gratiot League Square
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

Yesterday's shave was pretty good, as I probably could have skipped this morning. But, by the end of the day, I would be showing some growth, and that doesn't go over too well at work. I kept it to one pass this morning, and that was plenty. The San Antonio is breaking up badly now, and I'll have to squish the rest into the bottom of the container to get to pick up properly for the next shave, which should be it. I hope everyone has a great day!

    SOTD April 5, 2018

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick B1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Soap: Arko
Post: Witch hazel, TSD Iced Yin Yang aftershave

First use of Arko in quite a while. It's serviceable soap for me. A working man's soap with no frills. The performance is okay and is certainly an incredible bargain at about $1 a stick. Pretty good shave today. Really enjoying the B1 injector.

    Have a great day!
