Thursday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Sterling Lime Shave Soap Jayaruh #277 Schick Repeating Razor Schick Proline B20 CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Lucky Tiger I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Sterling Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #277 silvertip badger brush. I did two passes with the Schick Repeating Razor using a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten still in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Fine Platinum aftershave. Bob

04/04/2018 Last Night's Shave. Loaded the PROLINE into the SCHICK type B2 and WOW! that blade just fits it perfect (its a tiny bit shorter than the normal injector blade) - also we all know how great the proline blade is... peace, Jamie B.
Brush: Vie-Long 14846 Horse/Badger Soap: WK Man From Mayfair Razor: ER Streamline Blade: Gem SS Post: Warm then cold water rinse, WK Man From Mayfair AST Having been impressed with Wholly Kaw's vegan soap I was really looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint. It's definitely one of the best soaps I've tried, my only grumble is, it's a bit heavily scented for me. I really like the scent but just a tad strong, easily to live with when you consider the performance and post shave. It's a very thirsty soap and easy to overload your brush but once dialed in the rewards are excellent. The Toner is also great, as a balm would have been overkill on the nourishment front. I must be impressed, the Streamline didn't get a mention until now. Happy Shaving one and all.
Finally, I’m back home from my business road trip. Always good to be home. Shaving with disposables just left me wanting to get back to my razors. And what better way than to start it off than with a daily special. A TTO razor with a pack of 5 SS razor blades for a US $1. Bought a few of them to start a $1 razor shave off on another forum for a full week. Not to shabby to be honest. Three shaves in and it has performed better than expected. No Gillette Slim, SS or Tech but it will do in a pinch, thankfully. Who says you can’t feel like a million bucks for a $1?
