Mrs. Spartan has started to make comment as well. Not too loudly. My fault for displaying them on the countertop, I think. I have PIF'ed or donated a few, but have no concerted plan to thin the herd. I have been making a small 3 shelved display rack for brushes, soaps, aftershaves or whatever. The proverbial crap has the potential to hit the fan when the stuff comes out of the cupboard and goes up on that rack....
Funny, my wife made a comment yesterday that I should somehow display my brushes and vintage AS bottles! I was pretty giddy after that!
It’s officially Friday now. Great photos Andrew. Logan looks like he is having a grand time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My wife's comments were along the lines of "Holy Smokes, how many razors do you actually need?" based more on a disbelief that 20 are needed rather than concern for cost, clutter, etc. She's never once asked what anything cost. It probably helps that she has been in Antique stores with me a few times and seen me pay 8 or 10 or 12 bucks for a razor. Cheap like Borscht. She loves antiques as well, and commented "that one looks really cool" about the gold coloured NEW when I got it. She obviously knows all about the turnings I've done for folks and is more than supportive of everything. We'll see how the display rack goes. She knows I'm making it, but perhaps hasn't envisioned it hanging on a wall yet...
I read a story about a fellow with the OCD. His office desk was kept near bare when not in use except for a vase with a fresh floral arrangement. Every day a handful of posies, but folks didn't notice it was always in a different vase. So consider building a minimal display shelf, and quietly rotate the wares? If you keep the stash tucked away only you know what you have. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
Saw a T-Shirt once that said "I have CDO...I rightfully put the letters alphabetically" Yup, done. Also better chance of getting a 20" wide, 3 shelf walnut display rack approved compared to a 36", 2' deep pressboard Goliath...
Careful, Andrew. Sounds like a setup! If it was May, this would warrant a nomination for the "evil genius" award.
In general the Feather FHS SE blades are very sharp and smooth. However they really don’t last at all past 2-3 shaves each and at $20 US for 30 blades that can get expensive. The modified Gem blades work pretty well in the stainless model giving shaves as good as the second use of the Feather for 5-7 shaves. Plus the cost is much better. Now that I have it down modified blades take less than a minute each. So I do 10 or so at a time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was my own stupid fault... Tried to shave the same way I did with my Merkur 34c. I'll be showing this much more aggressive razor much more respect tomorrow!
Thanks Clint! Stirring has so many wonderful scents to choose from. I ordered a few more samples around midnight last night during lunch break. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
I am actually doing better woth not buying so many razors. I went to an estate sale today and only bought two.
