Nice looking Japanese Suzuki. I have a Suzuki No1., and I believe they aren't seen offer around here.
6/8 Trident Cutlery King Cutter Had a great shave with this Beauty .She sports a Thuri Finish .A very smooth feel to the blade .
Yep, stainless. Love it. First shave was one pass, smooth, no nicks. Very "shave ready" from the store. They had some real showpieces at their shop, but pricy, wow! This one has a G10 handle. Here's a bit of a report on our visit to their Portland, Oregon factory
When I switch to a different razor I like to put on a little oil on the blade to prevent it from rusting. I then wipe with tissue paper and strop. This one held some oil so the lather slid down while I was taking the picture. That was nice and stable lather.
I’ve had my eye on my Kropp and today was the day. It does a fantastic job on the mustache despite it’s size. It even provides that nice audio feedback as it whisks the stubble away. Wosty got out for its 2nd shave since hitting the CrO and it had definitely lost a little sharpness, but it's back with a vengeance
Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired, restored, and honed razor. It was a very nice 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. I couldnt have asked for a razor to perform better. Straight as an arrow, and takes a laser sharp edge, off the Arkie Surgical Black Hone. Razor- The E-W Co. 941 Brush- Stirling Boar Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented Aftershave- Osage Rub

I used my Engstrom frameback this morning and was rewarded with a fine two pass shave. This razor has always been a good, well balanced performer.
Shave #26 on the Cape 1000, still almost at 'just-honed' performance and a long way from needing a touch up. Soap is LpL Rose de Pushkar shea butter formula and the brush a Tulip 2. Cheers, Steve
This one was actually honed the day before yesterday, and used yesterday morning. It's an old Swedish-steel French frameback, an A. Touzet (mark registered 1946) and honed with one layer of 1mil DuPont Kapton tape as the spines on these are frequently not hardened. The finishing hone is a 60-gata (190x70) Kato-era maruka. It shaved very smoothly, those smilers are usually mild on the skin. Scales are shot though, so I'm looking through the rehab drawer for a set to cannibalize. Progression was 1k Shapton glass, 2k, 5k, 8k Shapton Pro, followed by koma nagura and tomo nagura on the finisher. Stropping was 20 softened Kanoyama canvas, 30 suede, and 70 cordovan. The shave was an easy BBS. Cheers, Steve
