SE Sunday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Sterling Lime Shave Soap Jayaruh #277 Gem 1907 Lather Catcher Original Gem Cutlery SE CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Lucky Tiger I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Sterling Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #277 silvertip badger brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1907 Lather Catcher Razor using an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Sun. 4/8/18 Good morning friends. A truly fine three pass shave today with the Gillette Aristocrat. This razor is one smooth shaver. The Italian Barber Milionario soap is just wonderful. Superb Sunday Such a smooth, close and comfortable shave! The lather was optimal and smelled great. WSP tobacco is a pretty good pairing, and one of my favorites. I added the balm because I'll be working outside before church this morning and it will be below freezing. Sunday I overslept and I'm gonna be late Shave, April 8, 2018 Hot wash with Neutrogena Men Invigorating FW Barbasol Gillette Fusion Profile 3 passes Cold rinse, witch hazel, Grey Flannel AS Great shave. I wish I could get this nice a shave with a DE, but I can't. Kind of ticks me off.

A most enjoyable BBS shave in spite of the Astra pretty well being at the end of the road. The Chapmunk soap from RVT has such a lovely spearmint scent - it's named for the "Chappies" chewing gum in South Africa. The soap has such fantastic lather and its skincare is so soothing from the chamomile in it. There's a bit of a cooling effect as well. The Bull Dog moisturizer felt so comfortable and soothing. You probably already know this, so I apologize if this is old news, but I have kept track of your posts, and the only thing that keeps popping into my mind is that, when using a DE, you are applying similar pressure as you do with your carts. Remember, it's all about removing the lather, not removing the hair. Good luck.
