Schick G5 razor Personna blade WD Synthetic brush Taconic Eucalyptus Mint SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Taconic Eucalyptus Mint A/S Really nice shave today. The above listed items worked really well together and I really like the Taconic SC. Maybe I'll use this set up all week like I did last week. That went well and this week should go well also. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Menthol Monday, April 9, 2018 Hot face wash, Gatsby FW 2 hot towels Cremo Cooling Shave Cream (as pre-shave) C. O. Bigelow + 5 drops M-Bomb Razorock Plissoft Gem Jr. w/Gem blade (1) 3 passes, touch up Cold rinse, Stirling Glacial Wintergreen Witch Hazel, Duke Connor Ice Cold AS Balm, Osage Rub OMGosh, what a great shave! I haven't used an SE in years, and this was my first time with the Jr. ("Don't call me 'Junior!'") Close shave in spots that usually end up stubbly with a DE. Now, I did get several nicks. I think that's to be expected for a first-time use. I'll have to wait a bit to see if any redness pops up. I think I'm going to use this setup all week to see if I can get a handle on it. The Gem blades are all I can get around here. What SE blades do you all recommend?
The GEM stainless blades are excellent. Some folks enjoy the carbon steel blades, but I found they didn't work well for me. GEM blades are just fine.
As soon as I had a decent shave, my RAD kicked in: "There are a couple nice looking SEs at the local antique store. Hmmm.... I hope they're still there when I'm back to work...."
