I'd like to pick up a piece in Koa Wood. It's indigenous to Hawaii, found nowhere else. There's a jewelry store, Na Hoku, that specializes in pieces with it if you want to have a look... http://www.nahoku.com/ . There are a handful of locations around the country, but I can't imagine they do as well on the islands. I've been to Hawaii a few times, love their chrono watches, but can't bring myself to drop $600 on a craft watch...Maybe one day...

By request, 281 got an Omega 49 knot set loooow, 52mm.

Yup, been tempted a couple of times but managed to persevere.

 

Here is the last one. It is the Leopardwood. I decided to put the brown (horse) synthetic in it.

It is the last of the five 400s that I started a while back when I began this thread. There will be more to come, God willing.

 

That synthetic horse knot sure does look good on there............

 

The synthetic horse not only look good but work very well as well. I’ve got one in my Joyaruh (259) and I love it.
