I have found the weepers happen mostly on the XTG/ATG pass for me with this razor. Skipping this pass this morning contributed to the lack of blood.
Thank you, gentlemen! The Jayaruh brush is a real pleasure to use. I never get tired of looking at the grain of the birdseye maple from different angles and this handle design is extremely ergonomic. And the Omega Pro boar knot has been a real revelation to me about just how good a boar knot can be.
Thank you, John! I agree about those Personnas. I have those blade in a couple of other razors and they're fantastic. There is something slightly awry with the loading of the blade in that M1. The Chick magazines load great but the others seem to have trouble lining up. Thank you, Jim!
Interesting. Thinking about it, that weeper I get from the injectors right at the corner of my mouth invariably happens on the XTG pass...
I found it to be a perfectly serviceable blade. Mine came in a sample pack, but I'd pick up more. I saw that thread. It's what reminded me to pick mine back up. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Thank you guys. I am sure it was the 13 hours in the car over the weekend that is causing my back to act up. I will try to do some stretches this evening when I have time. Luckily I am working on my taxes this morning.
Yesterday and today’s gear while giving my newly set Omega Pro knot a good break in. Thanks, as always, to Adam @Drygulch and Jason @jtspartan for their contributions to this morning’s shave! I spaced out and did 2 passes today, but achieved a nice DFS nonetheless.
I shaved today with Derby soap + the Stirling Executive Man aftershave. I personally love the scent, its one of my favorites from Stirling. It is also their #1 seller by a large margin
Great looking suribachi bowl, Rick! Yet another piece of shaving equipment that I don't really need, but am envious of nonetheless. (Translation - I'll eventually probably go and buy one whether I need one or not). One time I pulled the trigger and bought one from a guy in Asia, but he broke the bowl before shipping it and returned my money. Your timing is still too early for the "evil genius" award, Dan, but May is just around the corner. Not sure I'd know the difference, Fuzzy. I don't think I have more than 20 of any given blade (all 5 packs or sample packs). A portion of the box just has random blades stacked up, and I pull whichever one is at the top and use it for 3 to 7 shaves, depending on blade performance and/or my mood and/or forgetfulness to change the blade). Either way, I'm not sure how I would feel using the same blade for any length of time right now. Sounds dull (bad pun intended).
Thanks, Jim! That's my daily driver - birth year Slim with custom Delta Echo cerakote finish. Once I started using it, it's been hard to pick up anything else.
