Thank you Jason. I think you made a wise choice on the C&E Soap. While the C&E Cream is good, I prefer TOBS or AOS creams.

Great photo Keith. I too hate writing those checks to the Treasury.

Wonderful photo and shave Dan. How strong is the lavender scent of the Thayer's. I use the unscented version.

    Great classic shave Rick.

What a week. Even though it's Saturday, I am sad to say it will not be a relaxing day today. I have to meet a client and then make the drive to visit my Mom. At least that part of the day will be fun. A wonderful shave this morning to start the day. I am really starting to enjoy the Ocean Kelp scent and the performance is very good. Three passes and touch ups left me with a near perfect shave. No need or desire to buff my lower right neck trying to catch the baby. A splash of Fine Platinum and I am off for the day. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

Thanks Jason! I do too. He made me another handle out of the same piece of wood for me for Christmas, but I’m still trying to decide on a knot worthy of the handle.

You’re a Dandy. Sadly, I’m on that same path several paces behind you.

Is this your book submission, or just your daily report, Fuzzy?

    Thanks Clint! Me too.

Recently I saw a set of 3 disposeABLE razors for $4.00(supermarket). They look a little more "professional" than the Gillette ones I've been using. This will be an ongoing investigation, as I just purchased a new set of the Sensor Dooces(to replace the old).

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

The Futur clones have a huge blade gap, especially when fully opened. They start about where the Gillette adjustables leave off. They are fun to shave with. Just keep your angle set and keep the pressure off.

    Shave 17 of 30

Another shave after two days growth, first WTG pass good. i decided to go do an ATG and that went well too. Though I somehow gave myself a big weeper on the upper lip. Also a nick below the lower. I even managed to nick my index finger. I'm getting the hang of the chin, a buffing motion appears to work. I would have stopped there, but considering I was going to see Hamilton I wanted to look my best, and did a cleanup pass with the trusty Schick. Fresh shave, suit, new Allen Edmonds 5th Ave Cap Toe shoes... I looked damn good.

I hadn’t used the Whipped Dog Highmoutain White Knot in a while and I forgot how pillowy soft and silky smooth it is. It outpunches my softest Thater for about a quarter of the price. Contrasted with the sharp bite of a Glacial shave, yin and yang balanced each other perfectly this morning. The only anomaly was the (new to me) Wilkinson Sword Blade. I’ve shaved with it twice (effectively and with no drama), but just find it to be less smooth than other blades. Anybody else have thought on this blade?
