7/8 T.I. Le savon des Volcans Thater boar Very nice shave this morning. I'm a big fan of Le savon des Volcans. It does everything I want in a shaving soap. Have a good one.
Gold Dollar Day Wanted a perfect shave, needed to be thrifty with time. The Shave didn't disappoint, I wiped it off dry, I'll strop it later. Other than being a bit loose hinged, this has been a dependable razor. I'm a little embarrassed by how I described it's shortcomings, but neglected to praise it's qualities. I guess by returning to use it says something.
How do you like Henry et Victoria creams? I wanted to know as I was thinking about purchasing but I read that the scent is very minimal, and the soap doesn’t have enough slickness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BaBa 77 Swedish steel. LpL Rose de Pushkar shea butter soap, D. R. Harris Pink AS, followed by a little RdP AS - which is too strongly scented for an AS, but just peachy for an EdT. Cheers, Steve
Answer to castleshave ... Well, I have read positive and négative advices, but for me the slickness is like of the british creams TOBS and Truefitt. For the scent, it depends of your sensitivity. I like the smell of Cognac and cuban cigar, but some don't find any cognac or cigar in it. La poire franfrançaise smells like a pear cream cake, I would take a little spoon and eat it. Chestnut l'Orange as a biscuit flavour, duc de Santal is a more classical sandalwood scent. With the low price and the free shipping when the order is above 50 CAN $, it's worth to order some pucks with friens and make a turn around test. For information, most are tallow made, but Nautilus is a vegan recipe.

Today's shave was with a newly acquired, restored, and honed razor. I had one of the best 2 pass shaves, in a while, that left me BBS. It went against the grain about as smoothly as with the grain. Razor- Otto Deutsch's Hans Brush- B400 By Tom. Whipped Dog Boar Knot. 10 hairs shed this shave. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
Razor: KLIHASO 89 “The Savoy” Brush: Razorock Beehive XL 28mm Soap: Stirling Orange Chill A/S: Soap Commander Motivation Freshly honed razor from Klittermann & Moog out of Germany. The blade face sucked me in... I didn’t pay much attention to the scales until I started cleaning them. Then I saw this trademark: Stared at that for a while... came up with “4 armed creature on top of monster mushroom ripping the left arm off of someone resting.” Shockingly, that wasn’t it... Klittermann & Moog registered “Fairy on a Toadstool,” who would have guessed???? Enjoy your shave! Tom
Local Gent Field and Stream soap, Iron Town badger brush, Portland Razor with G10 scales, Chiseled Face Cryogen aftershave.
