    Menthol Monday's Shave

    Proraso Pre Shave
    Fine Snake Bite
    Jayaruh #144 Badger
    Schick F
    Schick Proline B20
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    English Leather

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Fine Snake Bite Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 badger brush. I did two passes with the Schick F with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  4. This shave was a frigid delight from start to finish. Any colder and I think my face would have disintegrated. That Glacial Wintergreen soap, balm, and witch hazel can freeze a penguin to death and the Arctique can kill an army of polar bears. BBS so easily thanks to the new Astra in my Super Speed.

Wishing you all a great week!
  5. What about Treet? I found them at my local grocery store.

  7. I believe those are carbon blades. I tried some a while back and didn't care for them, but of course YMMV. You have to take those blades out and dry them after the shave or they'll rust.

  18. You're vaguely right about only one thing!

My parents come from a city in Russia named Khabarovsk, which has an average temperature of -35 Celsius during the winter. I know because I visited their hometown! :)
  19. Do you mean you don't like to drive a Zamboni? What a disappointment. ;)
