Life has gotten in the way of posting regularly the past week or so. There is a high mountain pass 70 miles or so to the west of us. Coming back from a lacrosse game day on Sunday and the pass was closed due to avalanche blasting. Could’ve waited there for several hours, or take the alternate route, including a ferry, which would have added extra hours as well. Took the guaranteed ‘open’ route over the ferry and extra driving time and made it home at just before 2am. Was a zombie at work yesterday, but did have a decent shave with an Old Type, the SA and Reserve Cool products to start the week.
This morning, had a nice 3 pass shave. First use of the Rapira Swedish Supersteel, which came via @Keithmax. @NCoxSTL had posted about the different Rapira blades and I thought I’d break this one out. Fine blade. On only one shave, in this razor, it doesn’t quite have the ‘I can’t even feel a blade in there’ of my top few, but still a fine cutter.
Seville and Barbershop are always a good idea and I am off.
    Have a great day all!

A survey update shows that Nosey has dropped off a little, but still has a commanding lead over Adjustable Duh who has taken over second, breaking a three-way tie. Looks safe for Nosey to coast in as the winner, but speaking of safe, I will be safe and not project the winner for a week.

Dirty low handed Enabling there. Sneaky, subliminal, and subversive. Putting me in a position of having to compare the two products for myself.

That's more like it! Obvious stating of the products qualities. Now I know I need to try both Vitos Tobacco & 3 new Proraso scents.
Thanks for getting back to Enabling as we all hope for John. :eatdrink047:

    Hey guys.

I've been layin' low for a few days due to some family stuff, but things are starting to line out again. I put the Parker SRX away early and replaced it with my Muhle 41 head loaded with a Feather blade on a heavy Weber handle. It's nice to use a DE razor again. This one is shiny and shaves like its permanently set to setting Neal!

@Drygulch, I used up a bottle of witch hazel (does anyone care?), and I'm working through a container of Mike's Natural Soap. Sadly, I have no additional fruitcake consumption to report.

    Supply Co V.2 SE injector on two-dot plate / Personna ( 4 )
    Simpsons CH2 Synthetic brush
    Horn quaich shave bowl,
    Vitos Eucalyptus shaving cream
    Alum and Osage Rub

When I first got the Supply Co. injector (v.1, now traded away) I regularly gave myself weepers shaving on the mild plate. I now can shave daily on the second plate with no irritation. The key changes? A lighter touch plus skin stretching...

So I decided to take a day off the 1912 and loaded an Astra SP into the Ming Shi. I cranked it up to 6 (what else could I do?)... Not a bad shave at all... Nicked my nostril and lopped the top of my mole off... Other than that, it was a DFS on the first use of the razor and the first shave of the blade.
