What aftershave do you like after MWF? I know a lot of people are going to say you can use anything, but MWF has a definite scent and I like it. What might be the closest aftershave scent or at least the best compliment aftershave scent? Any and all opinions appreciated.
I pair it with Fine American Blend, but I’ll say I don’t know of a splash that smells close to The Fat. It’s subtle enough to allow you to use whatever you’d like.
None is required. MWF can stand on its own providing a close comfy shave with no need of post shave treatment. It also goes well with almost any cologne or AS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I’ve been enjoying lavender lately and have been looking for an AS to pair with my Salter hard puck. Castle Forbes is ok. It smells alright and feels good post shave, but the scent is not exactly what I was hoping for. tbh, I don’t know if I will buy it again. Barrister and Mann is nice but lingers waaay too long on my skin. Then I found this Shave Den splash. It is a Wow! find for me. I’ll let you know about it working with Salter elsewhere and down the road. But to address the OP’s question… I too have been hoping to find a splash to pair with MWF. This is it. It is, imho, a perfect pairing with Mitchell’s Wool Fat soap. You’re welcome in advance. (The M Bomb is a solid find, too. )
@chazt Try 3 drops of M Bomb in your palm along with your shampoo 2 drops of M Bomb in your lather bowl as you whip up your soap or cream 1 drop of M Bomb in your palm along with a splash of your aftershave
Steve, today I counted out 6 drops of MBomb onto the puck and let it sit while I showered. Man, lemme tellya, it was (expletive deleted in advance) amazing.
