Wacker PannaCrema o2 Vetiver Thater boar Nice shave this morning. I'm a vetiver fan and all I pick up is citrus scent with this soap. It's nice but I wanted vetiver. Well, I'm satisfied with the Thater brush, no more prickliness at all. The next shave will be with the ABC brush. I don't believe there will be any issues with this brush. The hand lathers have satisfactory and I think this brush will just drop into rotation and the break in will take care of its self. Have a good one.

A fantastic close shave with the dubl ducks. Been “shave lazy” as of recent. About every three days (or longer).
Broke out the Otto Deutsch Hans to do the Monday honors. A decent if not stellar shave. Very enthusiastic lather this morning - so much that it was running everywhere and I stuccoed my face with it. Smelled great. I'm ready for the week now.
Today's shave was with a Japanese Rescue Razor. I had a fantastic 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Razor- Japanese "Cherry 92". Brush- JR#262. Ebony/Birdseye Maple. Silvertip Knot. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Osage Rub

Yesterday my new Koraat 14 2.0 arrived. Ulrik delivered another winner. It is a bellied hollow but I told him I had trouble with big hollow grinds flexing during the shave. He just a little extra backbone and it did not flex at all but it was signing.
You guys have so much fun with your Dovo Bismarcks that I had to join in! The eBay gods aligned and I got my shot. So maiden voyage of a new to me Dovo... Very nice shave, and I’m interested to see how it compares to my pre-Dovo Bismarck. Tom.
Hayashi user that I honed up last night - the edge still doesn't seem quite 'there' though it should be, it tested very well. I got a tiny scratch that I did not even notice until lathering up with the Duke 3 and Trafalgar for the second pass, the first draw of blood in months! But it wasn't much, a small droplet at most and it stopped after drying off. AS was Harris Pink, and I used a tiny corner of an alum block on the affected spot just as a precaution. Now I have to figure out if it's just me or the edge is lacking - my money is on me, I think that the edge is pretty good - but I have been wrong before lol. Cheers, Steve
Just a droplet of that crazy mound of lather. Believe me, the edge is good, and the lather was everywhere.
Reached for the C.V. Heljestrand Sculpta this morning - I need the challenge of this razor! Two careful passes, a bit of touch up, and voila, I'm ready for the day. There were a couple of nicks, but hey, I'm working on this! Also, much better control of the lather. It didn't demand the keys to the car like it did yesterday. I like well behaved lather.
