  6. The Shaving Dojo? There's a certain amount of truth to that, that's for sure. Kind of chintzy on the belt ceremonies though...

  7. Now you know why the Dr. Bronner's was on a discount... At least the peppermint would smell nice as a handsoap; the lavender not so much (not a great lavender scent IMHO). I thought the Burt's Bees herbal smell was rather acrid and unpleasant.

Edit:. Looking at my face just now, I noticed some flecks of dried blood. Apparently my shave with Dr. Bronner's this morning did leave me with some weepers. I am tempted to dig it out of the garbage can so I can throw it out all over again.

Protractor , ruler , compass , I may use the whole set for Mayhem and invent the next breakthrough in shaving..... and it already comes in its own metal case .

  10. Maybe I should sent you the Peppermint so you can have the honor of tossing it in the garbage. :sport001:

  11. Would it be too mean of me to ask for a CT review on this? This is Larry the Cable Guy funny, right here.

Edison, if you end up branded for life, please remember that it is still better than that of the Stripper Unicorn guy who suggested it. Love you, man.

  12. It reminds me so much of my gramma’s laundry room, it’s uncanny.

  16. Arko Adjustable April!!

    April 24
    Razor - Soviet Consul (9)
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - Jayaruh #46
    Post - Alum

Third shave on the Consul this time around and it was another perfect shave. No blood, two passes, just a little bit of touch up and the baby is again in the house. The JR46 is still taking Arko from the mug and turning it into a non-stop lather. Great all the way around. Not even sure what else I can say about it so I'll just leave it at that.

I'll move on tomorrow to something else. Might still be Arko Adjustable, might not. I'm just taking it a day at a time at this point. One week to MAYhem! I don't really have a dangerous shave lined up this year. Probably a touch of wisdom showing up. However, I'm going to mix stuff up with gear, soaps, creams, food and beverages, all kinds of things to try and make it absolutely crazy to keep up with! The blade on a bolt might make a reappearance. You never know!

Cool pic, Jim! Is the Two Girls similar to M&L?
Love that Shavemac, Clint! It sure is nice to be back home.
I pulled the same AS today as well, Perry. Great minds...
Bummer about the Gel, John. When they’re really bad there is no guilt about tossing them!
Sounds like a great shave with an awesome razor!
Yup, Techs are underrated for sure, Dan.

I probably could have gotten a better or comfortable shave using a cheese grater. The more I shave with this thing, the worse my shaves get. I think it's time to see how much of my initial investment I can recoup. Anyway, anyone have an idea how to shave neck hairs which disappear when skin is pulled tight, but appear again skin is loose?
