Razor: Rolls Razor
Brush: Unmarked Mystery Handle w/Badger Knot
Lather: WILLIAMS
Aftershave: Polo Blue
Balm: Stirling Unscented Balm w/Menthol

Chalk up one more stellar shave with the Williams. Thick, rich lather and great post-shave feel. The Rolls glided effortlessly this morning.

 

As usual when I work a Thursday day shift I moved my WILLIAMS WEDNESDAY shave to early that morning. A new to me 1907 GEM Jr. was up. The TOST LE synthetic worked up the vintage Williams veddy nicely. Finally finished off the last of a bottle of Clubman!!

 

Two big ole buckets of awesome right here.

 

I find that Williams needs more water in order to achieve a decent lather. I melted my puck in with one of Van Der Hagen Luxury and got excellent results.

Hello all, im new here and have not posted to much, but i enjoy williams and im happy to find others who do. I have no issue lathering williams, new or old. I started using it in the 90s as a teenager and have always used it as my primary soap. I did not even know there was a recipe change until I read it on the net a few months ago, it has always worked the same. I dont bloom it, just lather on the puck. Im not normally a hoarder but i will admit i keep about 30 pucks on hand. Just happy to see a normal discussion going on about it.

 

That is called molesting the Williams. Williams needs no more water then any other soap when used properly. Don't blame the clutch.

Yup WILLIAMS WEDNESDAY once again!! No blooming...no molesting..just a awesome Williams Mug Shave Soap shave. Second shave with the VC4 Valet and the Feather SS SE. Veddy nice and smooth. The big ole JR 176/Omega boar rocked. Finished off with Citrus Musk..ahhhhhh.

I like the VC4. I have yet to try mine.

 

I think it is my favorite of the Valets. Draw back is it has to have the blades with the cut outs.

 

I like the clean fresh scent from cool wave. There is a silvertip version of that brush with a black handle I want. I have usually preferred smaller brushes , but they’re hard to hold on to, I really like the large handle.

I caught your mayo shave. I’ll have to remember that if I’m in a bind to shave one day.
