That Mondesir is such a cool looking razor - congrats! I think I have something related... Mondesir and Rondinella were both registered to L. Sommer and then W. Koniger. I think the marks transferred in the late 30’s. I have a Koniger Rondinella straight razor and love it! Also found this image and thought it was cool history on Mondesir. Again, congrats on the purchase! Tom

A new set of blades to go on display... eventually... one of these days. The collection grows, but the extra people in my house wont leave so I can put everything out.
I've been visiting a nearby antique mall more or less weekly for the last couple of years. It's mostly been a dry hole. Last week, out of the blue, this beautiful type d injector appeared, and a Hoffritz travel razor. Both look to have seen little use. $15 for the injector, $22.50 for the Hoffritz. With a Hoffritz branded blade even. Same guy also has bunch of Gem 1912 and micromatics, but asking twice as much for them. Go figure.

Today I received the new RazoRock Stainless Steel Game Changer with Radio Knob Handle and filled the cart with RazoRock XXX After Shaving Splash for free shipping. It has been one of those AS that I have been meaning to pick up because I like the soap so much. The razor looks great and seems to be made to very tight & precise tolerances. A real quality product. They even threw in a small little leather holder for the razor which was a very nice touch. I'm excited to break it in this weekend and see how it shaves! Steve
