Thursday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Van Der Hagen Luxury Jayaruh #284 Pal Injecto-Matic Personna CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Aqua Velva Musk I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Pal Injecto-Matic Razor with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. 26 April 2018 Continuing my sampling of Coates creams. Up today is the Lavender. Very nice scent. Kind of surprised that the cream was lavender tinted. As with the others I've used so far (Tea Tree & Lime) plenty of rich, creamy lather. Great post shave feel. Still have the Almond & Rose to try out. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Platinum in the Gillette Black Handle Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave. Bob

The Wilkinson stick smells great, it lathers so easily and it has a good post-shave feeling. The Nip Man balm cools and moisturizes very well also. Have a great day!

It'll be saved for VERY special occasions.

Got home, fully determined to use both, then I remembered I had compared the L2 to the DeHaven, so had to see if I was right (any excuse). I was wrong, I find this razor as smooth but more efficient than the DeHaven. Happy Shaving one and all.
