Bassnotes has info. One Reviewer of the original vintage version made by Yardley: "An opening blast of awesome quality: bergamot, lots of beautiful, orange, a touch of lemon, and some verbena in the background: a paradigmatic chypre opening if there ever was one; crisp and refreshing a Cologne this one truly is! The drydown develops a gorgeous lavender note, as if freshly picked in the garden, intense, very - typical. This lavender is very close in quality to my benchmark lavender, which is Old English Lavender from the same house. Clary sage, geranium and a woodsy-herbal undertone follow the traditional route in a thoroughly convincing manner. The base adds a - slightly earthy - vetiver, and, besides a gently crisp patchouli, also employs a lovely oakmoss; but it does that very sparingly. Whilst many oakmoss-based fragrances derive their allure from the full-throttle release of its mossy-spicy sharpness in an unfettered manner, here the oakmoss is applied in a nigh-homeopathic dose like seasoning in an already rich and tasty dish."

From an eBay auction: a Red Tip which is either heavily tarnished or practically encased in soap scum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was surpised. I figured there would be more last-minute bidding, not just a couple of low-bid bottom feeders. (Opening bid was $0.99, I got it for $1.04 plus $5 shipping.) I suspecxt that most of that is really old soap scum and will come off with a good soak.
Got 3 new creams in the mail today. -Derby lemon -Arko maximum comfort -Nivea shave cream. I had been wanting to try the Nice for a while since I saw Kensurfs video with it. The Derby is a classic, and when I saw the lemon, I had to have it to accompany my Derby menthol. The Arko, well.... It is too good to pass up. Also, waiting on my birth year razor. It is a 1985 black beauty. Can't wait, seeing as my birthday is in a few days, I figured it would be an early birthday present.
Wanted this one and luckily I was the second bidder. Five ounces of Avon Brisk Spice and way cheaper than buying a vintage bottle of it.
No seller pics, but this week I've purchased: 2 pucks of Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations shave soaps: gentleman's lavender, and tobacco and bay 2 aftershave bottles by Fine: Italian Citrus, and L'Orange Noir 1920's Gillette Old Type open comb base plate and cap revamped in nickel by Razor Emporium. I'll use it on my Ikon Bulldog handle.
Even tho I already have a MMCC in a bakelite case, I really wanted the brush. Also, the price for both was very good with free shipping. Maybe one of them will have to go, not sure because this is a different style case.
