Third and final shave with the Schick M for the month. This makes six shaves on the blade and it's performing just fine. I added the Stirling pre-shave soap back in tonight just to add that touch of menthol. It does leave a great after-shave feel as well. JR54 to continue trying to kill the Arko ring 'o' death. We're getting there.

Two passes, some extra touch up and it's close enough to a BBS to say I got close if not there. How about that for specifics? Let's see - to put it in more of a phrase that might sound like me - it's close enough to a BBS to be a BBS without being one. There, that sounds better.

This is of course modest, but it provides a good shave!
So -
The shaving apparatus (razor) - "Днепр-3" slant, was produced in Ukraine in the period of the USSR.
Shaving brush - "The Red Horse" is made by hand.
Blade - Gillette Blue (China)
Lotion shaving field - "Cucumber", inexpensive and gorgeous lotion.
Shaving cream -TOBS Sandalwood, a wonderful cream with excellent properties.

Это конечно скромно, но вполне обеспечивает хорошее бритьё!
Итак -
Бритвенный аппарат ( бритва) - "Днепр - 3" слант, производился в Украине в период СССР.
Кисть для бритья - "Рыжий Конь" изготовлена вручную.
Лезвие - Gillette Blue (Китай)
Лосьон поле бритья - "Огуречный", недорогой и великолепный лосьон.
Крем для бритья - TOBS Sandalwood, прекрасный крем с великолепными свойствами.

 

Pre: Warm water face wash
Brush: WDC-8, Maseto 24mm 2BF
Soap: L&L Grooming Bandwagon
Razor: Unbranded Italian OC
Blade: 7 o'C Yellow
Post: Warm then Cold water rinse, Tuff Red ASL

As my last shave was only about 15hrs ago, a mild razor was called for and this little number was just the job.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the H. Böker 5/8 Straight Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Is that a new brush? Very nice.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

RazoRock Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/WSP Slvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with RazoRock Tuscan Oud aftershave.
