  1. ROTFL. Awesome.

There aren’t any grizzlies anywhere around here. That’s a north and west thing.

A very relaxing three pass shave this morning. I can see the bottom of the container in the center of the soap. However, the soap is still up high on the sides. I think I will push it all down even to improve loading. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
  3. Sounds like a great trip, Charlie! I really like the Asheville area.
  4. Terrific picture, Mark!

  6. Wow, that's an incredible story. I love dogs so much, damn near loyal to a fault. As I've grown older, I've developed an allergy to pet dander, but the wife and I considering getting our daughter a mini schnauzer.

I skipped yesterday, and after a week of using the Karve brass razor, I figured I would break out the Timeless for a little comparison. This razor has a little more heft than the Karve, and it is more aggressive. Both are very efficient, but you can feel the blade a bit more in this razor. I did two passes and a DFS+ was had. Really a nice shave this morning. I hope everyone has a great day!
  8. Fantastic pics as always, guys! Clint, that razor looks stunning in that pic.
  9. Not sure how big of a dog you are looking for, but poodles are a really kick ass hypoallergenic breed. And they are only as foo foo as their haircut.

Good morning gentlemen! I hope everyone is well!

Very nice shave this morning. Three pass BBS. Whisper from the alum on my neck.

My new Timeless is just a joy to use! The plan was to get it for myself for Christmas but the extra overtime money was well spent. It's going to be tough to set it aside for MAYhem.

I too enjoy my Captains Choice bowls. I have the regular and the large. I enjoy the extra room the large offers but the regular fits my hand better.

Satsuma was the chosen scent this morning, love it!

    Have a great day gentlemen!
  12. When a guy sees the death ring, he gets all hopeful. Then he scrapes down the sides and realizes he still has half a tub!
  13. A very nice setup. You should put up an unfiltered of the brush sometime. Elite puts out some pretty nice handles. I have been watching from afar.
  14. I would tend to agree about the bowls. If I had one of each size, I would have it made.
  15. Is this where I say The Bears go to Minnesota all the time, usually to beat op on the Vikings
  16. Great photo, Clint! That brush is quite beautiful.

  17. Well, I made it back from my Orlando jaunt last night. Had a great time! It's rare that I can go on a trip like that with few responsibilities. Most of the time I am in charge and making decisions left and right, but this trip I didn't have very many responsibilities and really enjoyed it. Now it's back to the grind tomorrow.

My shave tomorrow will be Arko and the Schick M adjustable to be in solidarity with the month's theme. Next month is going to be fun to watch! I don't take part in the Mayhem shaves but quite enjoy the insanity that happens on here.
  18. Hi all, hope everyone is well. I had what was the most comfortable and smooth 3 pass BBS shave ever (for me). Hot shower prep, Noxema preshave, Stirling Soap (Baker Street), Ever-Ready #750 w/ Golden Nib Premium Badger knot, Rex Ambassador w/Astra SP on setting just a tick above number 2.5. Alum stone and Proraso aftershave. This razor is a marvel for me.

  19. Thank you, Jared. I don't have a picture of just the brush handy, but here is my shave pic unfiltered:

  20. I almost went with a poodle when I got my current dog. They are great dogs, but people are definitely proud of their litters.
