Awesome looking combo, Keith. That razor is always a stunner and I’m excited to see that you FINALLY added a new Scent to your rotation... You’re not the first to give that good advice, I’ve just been too impatient to pull the blade out and follow it.
I know! Just an odd, foreign, weak feeling. Full disclosure- I only ever use my right hand for any DE or SE as well.
Mark, did you get brushjacked? I don't recall you ever using such a pedestrian lathering tool. I approve heartily as that particular knot is one of my favorites. Is it new to your den?
I have always switched hands on DE or SE. But it still didn't prepare me for the sensation with any kind of straight. That's actually why I worked so long and hard on true kamisori style - keeping the same side of the razor on both sides of the face. That allows me to use only my right hand, but I finally gave in and trained my left hand. Bad hand. Bad hand.
"The Latin word sinistra originally meant "left" but took on meanings of "evil" or "unlucky" by the Classical Latin era, and this double meaning survives in European derivatives of Latin, and in the English word "sinister." For those of us that were lucky enough to be born left handed we've been fighting the battle our whole lives. Somewhere between five & thirty percent of the population is other handed and we lefties constantly head butt the world of right handed engineering.
May 2018 Palmolive Challenge Edition Day three on this fine VDH edge. In the same way that Miller Lite is a fine pilsner beer. It will have the desired effect, but there are better options. Moving on to edge two tomorrow. As per today...two Kung Fu passes for automatic results...hero finish. Mowed the lawn for the first time this season. Spring is upon us! Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado. Have a great weekend!
Alphabetical order. Dismiss all notions and just blindly try each one, knowing that it's all about the techniques. Have fun!
I hadn't given any thought to the order I would do them in. Alphabetical makes sense to me. Thanks Chris! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Have to grab these sunny Saturdays mate. If I have painted fences , sheds, and all the rubbish gone Mrs H says I can start on re-laying the patio .......she does all the flowers , plants and so on, I just do grunt work which I enjoy when its warm.
My last HS graduation in three weeks. Not sure if I’m old or tired, or what. Four more years, and I am done.
May 5, 2018 OneBlade Core Romera Olive Wood C&E West Indian Lime Route 66 Frozen Margarita Balm Up and moving very early this morning since Asha is in the first graduation ceremony today. SOTD May 5, 2018 Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Personna Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector Brush: Surrey restored badger Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum Post: Witch hazel, Reef Point Classic Barbershop aftershave Excellent two pass shave this morning. The Schick 66 is a terrific little razor. It's efficient and nimble but somehow feels a little different than a G1 or G5. The G1 is my favorite injector but the G4 is a close second. Always enjoy using it. The Jeeves soap is wonderful and I'm glad I chose it as a titanic candidate. I'm going to weigh it later today when the moisture has dried off to see how many grams I used last week. Regardless, I hope everyone has a great weekend!
