@wchnu, glad you liked the cream. The shavette is a cheap one that I figured I'd try. It did not like my face, and I don't have enough time to learn. I also have a bunch of blades for it, but I forget to send them..... Working too much it seems. The straight was bought in a little town in Texas called Navasota. You'd like the history of the town. I have not had it professionally hined, but it is sharp, just not quite shave ready. That rose soap looks amazing.

So this was unexpected...I was out to breakfast with my Aunt and we always like to hit the antique shops on bathhouse row for giggles. I promptly ask the owner if she has any razors and get "No, but I get asked that a lot!". Flash forward and Lynn (aunt) asks me what I think of a bracelet. I say "It's silver" and she replies "You're useless". "Oh, like you would be impressed by a sterling Gorham Gillette". That's when the owner says "I have a Gorham shave brush." Wait...What? She pulls it out and it is actually a sterling silver travel brush (Both the cap for the case and the base of the brush have storage space in them)! Needless to say, not cheap (A little more than a big Paladin) but now it's mine!!! Actually it's on layaway until next week...

I had to pick up some Creeper from The Holy Black to other night. Unfortunately the splash was gone by the time I found out they made another batch.
