  1. Thanks, Andrew! That’s just what I wanted to know. I’ll get one on order.

Teething is one of those things that you block from your memory as a parent once you’re through it. Not a phase I wish to revisit. Don’t worry, Andrew it will soon be replaced by another crisis or challenge yet to be named.

Mrs. Gator has learned to mostly ignore my stupidity. Denial can be a powerful tool when used properly.

I’m right there with you, Adam. Going forward, I’m counting on others to make Shavey nominations on photos and other categories as well, as it’s hard to keep up.
  2. Excellent photo Jason! That knot looks like it has a big bloom, how's the backbone?

  3. Thanks Randy! I know like all things, this too shall pass, but it's not fun living it.

  6. Not been in much. Fatip Day #8 went as the others. Really think I’ve found a forever razor here. A weekend in the sun working in the garden , rubbish all removed, plants all given their haircuts, fences and sheds repaired and painted, just under a hundred miles ridden over the three days, bbq’s, far more Campari based drinks than is sensible. A proper bank holiday weekend spent with family while we all did our stuff :)
  7. Let the engineering begin.

  9. Ooooooh!

What's the worst that could happen? Besides Tetanus.
  10. Holy smokes! This is getting serious.
  11. Sounds like a great time!

  12. I don't think you can get Tetanus from aluminum. But I'm not a doctor.
I won't be serious until I sharpen it.
  13. Thank you Paul.

  14. Awesome pic, Chris!
Prison Shiv part deux? Great combo, Keith!
Man, another in a great series of beautiful 400s this week!
Great picture again, Jim! I take it English Fern is a take on the well-known Penhaligon's fougere?
I swear I didn't poach on your razor this morning, Perry. Coincidence. Great minds again...
I'll echo what many others have already said today, John. If you know you can shave with something, and don't want to, don't. Too many fun shaves ahead.
I've noticed that as well, Clint. Those two are getting tonnes of mentions this year. I believe Randy's reviews put them at the top as well. I haven't tried either. Agree- maybe next year.
    See below...
Mrs. Spartan has the same type of humour, but might have had me committed...
I'm a little late on the well wishes, but I hope your boy feels better tonight, Andrew. Great photo, in the meantime!
Yup, I'd be committed for sure.
    That is a contest I cannot win:scared003:. You've earned your lifetime award.:happy088:
  15. Thank you Jason!

  17. Thank you all.
Andrew, the knot has an average bloom for the size, I would say. It is a fan shape and I think looks a little bigger in this pic than it is. The backbone, with this knot set at 13mm depth, is about the same as my Whipped Dog HM Badger set at 15mm. I think the Stirling (Yaqi?) Finest Fan I have is a stiffer and mildly scratchier Finest, in comparison, if that makes sense.
  18. Thank you, Jason. My assumption has always been that the TSD English Fern is based on Penhaligon's, but I honestly haven't smelled Penhaligon's to confirm. I do like the scent, though.
  19. Thanks, Jason! The I1 is a great razor.
