I like the OC Dammy a touch better even though they are very close. It could be that my regular Dammy is in near mint with a complete set of the original Damaskeene blades. I am almost afraid to use the thing. Almost.
I cannot and will not argue with your experience. My comments are directed at newbies...most of the advice they get is gear related, and will not actually improve anything much without solid technique. My preferred holder is a shavette, followed by a Schick G. Newbies need to realize that advice to try mild razors often leads to more irritation than learning on a wide open model.
