Thur 10th May Omega 11126 Cyril Salter Solid soap PAL Injecto-Matic Schick Proline [ 7 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion As a follow up to use of the PAL Adj. just had to be the Injecto-Matic. This has a reputation of being a harsh Razor, but use of a Proline Blade calms it down no end. The Shave was pleasant enough but the quality of finish was somewhat lacking, as maybe the blade tailing off. The Adjustable with a blade also on its 7th use was a much better Shave, and felt good for more use.

Thursday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Valobra Shaving Soap Jayaruh #285 Supply Provision Schick Proline B20 CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Mennen Skinbracer I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Valobra Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #285 brush. I did two passes with the Supply Provision with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Mennen Skinbracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Easy and comfortable. Enjoyed the vintage blade sent to me by @EzraCobb. Nice shave overall. Enjoy your day!
Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Semogue 2000 Boar Soap: P&B Sanskrit Razor: DeHaven Model 3 Blade: Schick Proline P Post: Cold water rinse, Floid Mentolado Vigoroso ASL The best shave yet from this razor and I think it's because it's my first SE shave in ages and I'm using the right length blade. Injector blades are slightly too short and AC ones are too long, so a pair of tin snips to the rescue. After using mostly travel brushes recently the 2000 felt a bit like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut but a thoroughly enjoyable shave ensued Happy Shaving one and all.

Fri 11th May Omega 11126 Cyril Salter solid soap Schick E2- Canada Schick Proline [ 7 ] Pitralon Polar A/S lotion Over the last few days I have been using Injectors that only take single blades. All have been fitted with Proline blades on their 7th outing. On Wed I used a PAL S/S Adjustable and had a very good Shave. Yesterday I used the PAL Injectomatic and though the Shave was comfortable enough I felt the finish was not that good, perhaps the blade had run its course. Today using the same brush/soap I used a Schick E2, which though quite aggressive delivered a trouble free and ultra close all round shave.Looks as though the longevity of the Proline blade may depend on the Razor it is fitted in.

The shave of yesterday that I prepared so long, by testing different tools to strop the blades .... That's finally the shave of today: Verdict: If the closed comb is the most comfortable, comfort depends mainly on the quality of the strop of the blade.
