Welcome @Shojo510 to TSD from America's South Coast. Plenty of former, current, and future SR shavers around. Often referred to as The Dark Side of shaving. You may only be a Padiwan right now, but many Jedi Masters should you have questions. You didn't mention any other gear. Have a favorite soap, brush, or aftershave?
Sounds like I'm in the right place with my newly forming hobby/lifestyle/super happy fun pass time! As for shave products I am so new I have only been using my initial guided products from Stirling Soap, which I am really enjoying! Right now I have their synthetic pro brush and pre-shave soap, shave soap, pre shave and beard oil and post shave balms. So far the Barbershop and Sharp dressed Man are really doing great! I am also enjoying the orange chill shave soap sample too... Next on the essentials list is a mustache cup(?) and maybe another strop cause my first is a little sliced. Thanks to all for the kind greetings and welcoming salutations!
Jayaruh you have got some gear there! I think a DE may be in my near future as I get further along...next week lol! Cheers!
Thank you so much, having a great time! Meeting the best people @Jrdelgado I spent some time in SantaFe, New Mexico is an awesome place!
Hi Shojo510, and welcome to The Shave Den! If you live anywhere near West San Jose, Williams Cutlery & Gifts has some shaving gear. You can see some of the shaving gear in the photo on their website, by the back wall. They also occasionally carry vintage items from estate sales.
Santa Fe is beautiful. In New Mexico has a lot of beauty too it. From desert to mountains. Thank you!
If I remember correctly Santa Fe Ski Basin is one of the tallest in the country with a base of 10,500and a peak of 14,500 ... 20 minutes from downtown what a blast! Ahhh good memories! Cheers All!
Welcome from Sonoma County! Are you on the Bay Area wet shavers FB Page? Send me a pm if not and I’ll get you on it. Cheers Sean
