MAYhem Shifting Focus Gears Proraso Green PS soap Scentsy No.4 Cream SS Caswell-Massey Pure badger Suribachi bowl, cool water Gillette Heavy, Astra SP (1st) Alum, Osage Rub AS Proraso Green lotion Trying the PS soap with an under performing product felt like a Focus. Can't say the scent of eucalyptus and menthol goes with this cream's theme, but it helped add some slip and residual slide to a less than best lather. With a liberal application of both products I was able to find good service for a fresh blade in an old razor. Some where I bookmarked a chart of blade gaps that IIRC say the Red Tip isn't just heavy, it's also aggressive. I like both attributes and enjoyed an efficient 3 passes + cleanup. Into DFS territory with no nicks. Mentholed my Monday some more with O.R. AS & P.Green lotion. Good Shaves Y'all!
New Fattip arrived over the weekend. First shave with it was good. I shave too fast with a DE, though. Would have been smoother if I had slowed down. Regardless, Tallow & Steel Dark was nice and dark this morning. Cheers!
Mayhem Survey Commentary: Slight gain from our leader, "Cookie"-25% up as we approach the middle of the month. With a trend like this going, Cookie may be setting himself up for an early "Winner Projection" by me-but we'll see how it looks in a week or so. Meanwhile "month to bleed" appears to have started out backside of the gate and going the opposite way.
