Shaved with 5/8 JR Torrey today, Sterling soap products barbershop scent Still working on my technique, not much bleeding(a few weepers) Really enjoyable shave!
Tonight's shave was with some Swedish Steel. I had a fantastic 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues, just smoothness all over. Razor- Joseph Elliot. Best Silver Steel. Brush- B400 By Tom. Whipped Dog Boar Knot. 1 hair lost, and definitely slowing down. Feels super soft. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented. Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
Just added pictures to the post I posted here earlier today. I should have posted this razor in the “honed lately” thread too, as I honed it a hour before I shaved with it! I picked it up about 2 weeks ago, from a local antique mall. Needs to be cleaned up, or it might just leave it alone, no sure at the moment. What I do know, it shaved great, no issues on its 1st run.

Today's shave was with a little known Razor, a Near Wedge grind. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, no touch-ups, that left me BBS. Zero Issues. It's a fine shaving razor, I know nothing about. Razor- John Brown. Near Wedge grind. Brush- B400 By Tom. WD Boar Knot. 5 hairs shed. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice Lime. Lantern Decanter. Circa 1973-1975.
7/8 T.I. Declaration Grooming Lavender homemade brush - Mondial knot Excellent shave this morning. Lately I've bought four or five brushes (boar) to play around with and out of these I didn't really care for the Mondial. It had a mushy feeling to me, not a lot of backbone so that was all the excuse I needed to mess with it. Originally it was the white handled one with the dimensions of 25mm by 60mm. At any rate I took it to 25x56mm. It'll need a couple more shaves to form an opinion.

Figured I would join @Shojo510 and break out the Torrey... J.R. Torrey Celebrated with a Leo Frilot Disco Haze 24mm Silvertip. Some nice Razorock products for the during and after. Just a pleasant shave. Enjoy your shave! Tom
I put a Whipped Dog Silvertip my JR#262. Excellent brush. I'm thinking of putting a WD High Mountain Badger in the extra B400 ferrule. Those two are my top two brushes.

TOBS Rose soap, new Omega Pura Setola boar brush, smelling nicely of wet dog, C.V. Heljestrand Le Duc razor, Proraso green aftershave. That nine dollar Omega boar brush really established its dominance on the lather this morning. Great value for the money.
Shave #45 with the Cape this morning, ABC hard soap lathered with a 3-band HMW, and polished off with Harris Pink AS. Edge is still going strong, cutting heavier growth than normal to dolphin smooth. I’m only 2 shaves away from my previous high water mark of 47 shaves with a Tanifuji Favorit before I had it re-scaled. Cheers, Steve
Todays shave was with an American made razor. I had a pleasant 2 pass shave, no touch-ups, that left me with a near BBS shave. Silent and very stiff blade. It's hard to get the feel, and feedback from this one, while shaving. You have to wait for the results. Razor- Berkshire Cutlery. U.S.A.. 1/4 Hollow blade. Brush- B400 By Tom. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Vintage Avon Brisk Spice
