  4. For my second straight time with the Jayaruh #59 brush, I got a strong, confident load of soap onto it. Led to a real fine shave. With the WSP soap, I've actually done better with other brushes than with the WSP one itself(Pure Badger), that I tossed. Interesting to think about because as a comparison, Doc Ezlovan's brushes work in concert with his soaps(Stoylin).
  5. Excellent photo, Jim!
The Mountain Man scent is one of my favorites!
Glad the surgery went well, John! I will pray for your speedy recovery!
Feathers always feel scratchy and rough to me. Have you had a chance to try a GSB or a Nacet ?
    Excellent photo, Perry!
Excellent photo, Clint. I look forward to final assessment of the Soapy Science soap. And once again that handle is just stunning!
  6. I call it alcohol. That's the only way peaches makes any sense at this point.
  7. Thank you Andrew. This is by far my favorite razor handle and one of the reasons I often buy just the razor head.
  8. Thanks Andrew!

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Schick Injector H1 "The Hussy"
    Personna blade
Doug Korn Stubby (35mm, Carrier Class)
    Italian Barber Amici
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill PSB

First shave with The Hussy. The head design and feel reminds be a lot of The Bunny, or The Bunny reminds me a lot of The Hussy. The rectangular handle was a little awkward on the XTG pass but otherwise felt great. Three passes left me just short of BBS. I finished off with some Stirling Glacial lemon Chill PSB for my daily face freeze. I will have to scrape the remaining Amici from the sides of the tin and redeposit them in the middle for its last shave. Have a great day my friends!
  10. Nice pic Andrew!

I'm seeing a lot of razors that I didn't know existed before joining this group.

  13. That's funny! I play Pokemon. I have seen a few older than me playing but not many.

  16. You are right about the Hussy and the Bunny having similar head designs. I think @twhite said a long while back that he based the Bunny's cap on the design of the Hussy.
  17. It seems to depend on the razor. A quick trial in the 33C transformed that razor from good to excellent. They feel rough in the Fatip and Futur so won't use them. I intend to give the Nacets a go at some point ….GSB though what are they?
  18. You are correct. The Hussy and the F.

  19. Thanks Clint! I picked up the brush on a BST. The Faux Ivory does have some grain to it, but its hard to see in a photo. The knot is a 35mm from Vigshaving . It is very dense and has fantastic backbone without a hint of scritch. It really chewed through the Amici this morning! Here is one of the sellers pic's showing the grain in the handle:
