    Stick: Day Sixteen

    After two days of growing a beard and dreadlocks, I gave up. Buzzed my head with a 1/2 guard and then went two passes of shavette on the two day beard. It was a phase, but had to end. The shave was good. The Alum indicated pressure was correct. I will push this Voskhod until it hurts me. How's that? A good start? Finally fixed the continuing leaks in the irrigation today. Turns out there were two unknown leaks that made themselves evident after the larger leaking pipe was repaired However, after a junction change and new drip line, I had dry concrete again. In an update, my friend is doing outpatient care, and seems to be stable. He will try working again soon.

    Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado.

    Trying to use the big boar to kill off the CRSW but it is replenishing instead. Decent shave, but I think it's the last hurrah for that blade.

    Still a busy so another succinct report. The edge was smooth and laser sharp. The AdP will be finished tomorrow. An epic shave. I smell good.

    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G5 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
    Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Sandpiper aftershave

    Moving through the injectors again. G5 today for a smooth shave. The Jeeves keeps on putting out stellar lather. I'm thoroughly enjoying the titanic attempt on this soap. All around first rate this morning. Hope the same for y'all.

    Jumping in mid month - I opened a puck of Col. Conk almond and am trying out my 4 different brushes with it. V-L Horse, Omega boar, restored MR badger and RR Plissoft. The synthetic seems to be the clear winner so far.

    This week is going by very quickly and I am not complaining about that at all. The PdP soap and balm was a Christmas gift from my wife and girls. It was very easy to load and lather. I find it to slick with very good performance. I changed up the 3 passes and went XTG, ATG and XTG. I ended up with my normal near BBS miss. Overall a very good shave. Some witch hazel and the PdP balm left my face feeling fantastic and moisturized. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
