May 2018 Palmolive Challenge Edition Edge: Day Two Stick: Day Sixteen After two days of growing a beard and dreadlocks, I gave up. Buzzed my head with a 1/2 guard and then went two passes of shavette on the two day beard. It was a phase, but had to end. The shave was good. The Alum indicated pressure was correct. I will push this Voskhod until it hurts me. How's that? A good start? Finally fixed the continuing leaks in the irrigation today. Turns out there were two unknown leaks that made themselves evident after the larger leaking pipe was repaired However, after a junction change and new drip line, I had dry concrete again. In an update, my friend is doing outpatient care, and seems to be stable. He will try working again soon. Jumping in mid month - I opened a puck of Col. Conk almond and am trying out my 4 different brushes with it. V-L Horse, Omega boar, restored MR badger and RR Plissoft. The synthetic seems to be the clear winner so far.
May 17, 2018 Wolfman WR Ti .74 OC with Triad Ti Aristocrat Feather 30 DC LE with Tuxedo Pre de Provence Soap and Aftershave Balm This week is going by very quickly and I am not complaining about that at all. The PdP soap and balm was a Christmas gift from my wife and girls. It was very easy to load and lather. I find it to slick with very good performance. I changed up the 3 passes and went XTG, ATG and XTG. I ended up with my normal near BBS miss. Overall a very good shave. Some witch hazel and the PdP balm left my face feeling fantastic and moisturized. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
