Thank you, Gentlemen! Randy @BaylorGator Logan is not a family name, just one that was sitting near the top of the pool and seemed to fit when he was born.

That is an awesome 'ol Badger, Fuzzy. Those old knots don't always survive so well, but that one is a looker.
I have quite a few Stirling balms and they are top notch performers. I don't have any citrus balms, but have Stirling citrus products in soap form that would be great in balm form. Gin and Tonic is awesome, and others speak very highly of Margaritas in the Arctic and other scents.
Awesome pic, and a very informative series of posts on Fine Lavender as well, Clint.
Sounds like you are definitely ready for the weekend, Perry. Hope things start to wind down a bit.
Agreed. I whip through shaves too quickly in the mornings at times as well.
True, but some are better and more enjoyable blade holders, imho.
Fantastic pics, Andrew! When they start going up those stairs, life is never the same afterwards.
Thanks, Andrew. I forgot about that very appropriate nickname.

Thanks Jason! Its the learning how to come back down the stairs that we are struggling with now.

We taught the girls to just sit down and slide down the stairs at that age. At least we didn't have to worry as much about them falling.

Were trying to teach him to backward crawl down the stairs. I think he starting to get the hang of it. Every once in a while he wants to stand up and try to step down, and hes not quite big enough or coordinated enough to land that maneuver. In reality hes only been walking for 3 weeks, so I think he's making some pretty good progress.

Same concept. They progress so quickly, it is scary. At least it was for me.

About the recent photo-is he supposed to follow the white markings on the stairs?

That's just some sunlight coming in the window. But he has no problem motoring up the stairs!

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

When this group started and "technique trumps tools" was just an idea we hadn't heard, it was a bit hard to believe how much truth is in that statement. The way that the razor companies, especially Gillette, evolved the razors into plastic handled cartridge systems or disposables took technique out of the equation. The pivoting heads made adjusting angle extinct and everyone just started going through the motions of dragging multiple blades over their face and assuming they were getting the best shave. Herd mentality, and once it took Gillette was able to occasionally redesign a handle or add a blade and watch the profits roll in. Add a can or plastic bottle of chemicals called shaving gel, and even a couple of other items like pre-shave and after shave balms that were also dubious in their makeup, brand them the same as the razor and call it a "shaving system".....yeah, we're dumb enough to buy in. We're human, after all.

Until the smart ones started rediscovering the "old ways". The quality of my shave is in my hands, not in the blade holder in my hands. Using actual soaps/creams again, quality steel blades and learning how to maneuver everything - now THAT'S quality shaving. And the feel of my face and skin as well as the quality of my shaves has done nothing but continually improve.

Ok, soapbox put away again. As to the stunt shave timing? I'm pretty sure you'll get your wish.

Some time ago I bought a tub of the original because scent wise it’s my favorite soap, but performance is just average. Mixing it with AoS tallow unscented gives the best of both worlds.

Youre 100% right . Take Apple for example ...do you really need a new iphone every 8 months? Clever marketing to the sheep.
