Seeing all the wonderful Pumas on this site the last few days.Gave me the desire for some Puma Steel.
Had a fantastic shave with this well used Puma .BBS in about 2 1/2 Passes.Love the weight and grind of this razor .Shaves very similar to recently acquired 7/8 Wacker .

On the left it it literally says “cat mark”, meaning Cat brand. On the right the literal translation is shaving knife which means straight razor.

Today's shave was with a Folding Japanese Kamasori razor. I had a very smooth and silent 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. This is a well made razor. I did put a symmetrical edge on it, even though it is ground asymmetrically. It seems to work better, with my one handed shaving style.

Razor- Japanese Suzuki No.1. Asymmetrical grind.
Brush- RazoRock 400 with a Whipped Dog High Mountain Badger Knot.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Ships Lantern Decanter. MMM MMMM Good.

Today's razor was the 352 6/8 Le Grelot Lotus that I honed up this morning. Cream was SMN lathered with a Tulip 2 and a splash of Lucky Tiger topped everything off. It was a wonderful shave - love that French steel.

I have never seen one before, I’m tempted to buy just because it has Korean writing. I checked on the bay and the tang says the factory name is February 26. I have no idea what significance that date has in North Korea. I have never seen a straight made in South Korea.

I wonder if it is legal to own one in the south?

A simply wonderful shave. Snuck up on me as the first two passes were good but unremarkable. The end was anything but.
