It was time for me to take the Gem junior 1901 out for a spin today. It certainly was an enjoyable shave and this razor can hang with the best of them!
Thursday's Bunnyvette Shave Proraso Pre Shave Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #289 Bunny V3 (no comb) Personna SE CWS Thayer's Peach WH Barbasol AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #289 brush. I did two passes with the Bunny V3 Razor with a Personna SE blade. I did it without a comb, so it was a Bunnyvette shave. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Short strokes, huge concentration on the angle, and patience yielded much better results. I can't whip this razor around like one of my Schicks. It needs more attention than that. Nice results in the end. Have a great day!

Find the angle and absolutely don't move your wrist! There is no play in the angle with this razor. Yields really good results when you find the right spot. Have a great day!

Yep, it is pretty nice. I got the whitetail deer antler point from @cpool222 in a trade. He has a similar handle for his lather catcher.
Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Vulfix 404 Badger/Boar Soap: Grooming Dept Ambrosia Razor: Valet AutoStrop VC-1 Blade: De-spined Gem SS Post: Cold water rinse, Pinaud Clubman ASL The lid has been left off this soap for about 10 weeks to try and get rid of the cat pee smell and I'm glad to say the cat has finally pushed off, because this soap is very much worth rescuing. Happy Shaving one and all.
