Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: WDC-8, Maseto 24mm 2BF Soap: P&B Spitfire Razor: Schick Type L1 Blade: Chick Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Pashana ASL As my last shave was only about seventeen hours ago I thought the L type would be up to the job. On this occasion I wasn't wrong and the Bank Holiday weekend got off to a lovely start. The warm scents of Spitfire and Pashana were just right for this damp and bleak looking Saturday morning. On that cheery note, I wish you all a great weekend.
Sat. 5/26/18 Good morning gentlemen. A truly fine three pass shave today with the Schick N1 fitted with a twin blade. Marvelous lather from the Speick shave cream. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

SE Sunday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #289 Superior Lather Catcher CVS CS SE CWS Thayer's Peach WH Barbasol AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #289 brush. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
I used the open comb Damaskeene for the first time this morning and what a shave it was! It’s a smooth and comfortable shaver and it’s just a tad milder than the regular Damaskeene. It also seems to provide more audible feedback than the regular Damaskeene. I love it when a razor talks to me! There is nothing primitive about the OC. This razor can fit into the modern world and be a razor that anyone can use. This baby is a keeper!
Great shave today for Memorial Day. I used as many U.S. produced products as possible. I must say, the MicroMatic is a great shaver, and super efficient. This one mows down the hair, and leaves nothing in its path. I hope you have great shaves!
Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Semogue 2000 Boar Soap: Proraso Green Razor: Blackland Sabre L2 Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Cold water rinse, Proraso Green ASL If this knot was set 5mm lower it would possibly be my favourite boar brush, as it is, it's a wee bit floppy but a pleasure to use all the same. The Sabre enjoyed the slickness of the Proraso and my skin enjoyed the splash. Happy Shaving one and all.
SOTD - 27th/ 28th May Today at home unpacking after short trip away, so used Travel Kit. Omega s10065 Syn. Haslinger Honig Schick "O" Clone Schick Twin- Japan [ 8 & 9 ] La Toja A/S Lotion I took the "O" Clone with me on a short trip away, as it always delivers a good/fault free Shave. Sunday was OK wish, but as often is the case when away the lighting and mirrors are not always good for Shaving. Back home was really nice and had a smooth comfortable Shave, with a nice close finish. Next time away must pack my pre shave soap- Neutrogena Glycerine, which I really missed.

Tue 29th May RazoRock Plissoft 22mm Cyril Salter Solid soap ATT SE1 Schick Proline [ 6 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion I do get good Shaves with my Injectors, but they are not quite as satisfying as getting a great shave with an AC or Gem powered Razor. One cannot afford to be " Gung Ho" when using these Razors as care and good technique us required to avoid mishap. Today I just enjoyed the feel of the ATT Se1 as it eliminated my growth with ease, and it was so nice to use it with precision to get a really ultra close finish even in the most awkward areas. Definitely this could be a bit of a face stroking morning.
Pre: Cold water face wash, Brush: Maseto 24mm ST Soap: Wickham's Irish Fern Razor: Sabre L1 Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Cold water rinse, Wickham's Irish Fern PSB Having yet again favoured the L2 yesterday, I thought the L1 was being unfairly treated, so out it came today. Not a bad shave at all, I find it similar to the ER Pushbutton, three full passes and pick ups required. The Wickham's soap and balm were of course excellent. Happy Shaving one and all.
